Journalling Session

This is the final practice of your retreat. A moment to slow down, gather what’s surfaced, and hear your own voice with a little more clarity.

Writing is a quiet, powerful tool. It helps us connect the dots between what we felt and what we now know. This session invites you to write a letter from your future self to your current self.

This future version of you has lived through what you’re facing now. She’s grounded, kind, and honest. Let her speak. Let her remind you of what matters and offer the kind of reassurance only you can give yourself.

This practice helps me remember that I already carry the wisdom I’m looking for. It gives me space to listen, and to trust the part of me that’s quietly been here all along.

You can write in your Retreat Guide or in a journal. Let the words flow as they come. There’s nothing to get right.

How to Prepare
• Set up a quiet space where you can write uninterrupted
• Have your Retreat Guide or a notebook and pen ready
• Take a few slow breaths and gently close your eyes before you begin
• When you're ready, start with: “Dear [your name], I want you to know…”
• Try not to edit or overthink, just let the words arrive
• When you finish, take a few minutes to sit with what you wrote
